Selection Process
The CGPSC will conduct a written test and interview to shortlist the candidates for the post of Scientific Officer. Candidates will be shortlisted purely on the basis of performance.
Exam Pattern
The detailed exam pattern is given below. The Written examination consists of 300 marks and an interview for 30 marks.
- The written examination consists of two sections.
- The first section consists of General Knowledge for 100 marks and the second section will be a question from concerned subject for 200 marks.
- Each question carries 2 marks.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.33 for each wrong answer.
- The duration of the exam will be for 3 hours
