OSSC Assistant Librarian Salary Structure

The monthly salary of Odisha Assistant Librarian is Rs 25300 for the first year as per Govt. in G.A. & P.G. Department Notification No.28626/Gen dated 27.10.2021. The pay is subject to revision as per the decision of the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria for OSSC Assistant Libraian

CBRE (Computer Based Recruitment Examination) mode

The Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance on the following test

• Main Written Examination
• Practical Skill Test
• Certificate Verification

OSSC Assistant Librarian Exam Pattern 2022

The OSSC will conduct a two-stage examination to shortlist the candidates. Stage 1 will be a composite objective type written test. In Stage 2 there will be a practical skill test.

Stage 1: Written examination

• The Written examination will be an Online Computer based test.
• The question pattern will be of objective MCQ type.
• There will be a total of 100 questions.
• Each question carries 1 Mark.
• There willl be negative marking for wrong responses. For Each wrong answer 0.25 will be dudected.
• The duration of the exam is of 90 minutes.
• The question paper will be a composite one. The detailed subjectwise distribution of marks is as follows

Stage 2: Practical Skill Test

Candidates about five(5) times of the vacancy will be shortlisted in order of merit based on the performance in the written examination. These shortlisted candidates will be called for a Practical Skill Test. It will be qualifying in nature.

The duration of the skill test will be of 30 minutes. The total mark is 30 marks. A candidate needs to score at least 15 to qualify in the Practical skill test.
