The salary for the WB Primary teacher is Basic pay of Rs 28,900/- plus DA as admissible plus HRA @12% of the basic plus MA as admissible.

WBBPE Primary Teacher Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

The following educational qualification and age criteria candidates need to fulfill to become eligible for the WB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2022.

Age Limit: The Minimum age limit is 18 years and the Maximum age limit is 40 years. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Educational Qualification: For the post of West Bengal Primary Assistant teacher, the following educational qualification needs to be fulfilled by the candidates.

• The candidate shall possess the minimum educational and training qualifications as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education prevailing as of the date of publication of the recruitment notification.
• TET-qualified candidates who are undergoing D.EI.Ed./D.Ed. Education)/B. Ed Training (session-2020-2022) and who have qualified in D.EI.Ed/D.Ed. (Special Education)/B.Ed. Training Part-I examination (session-2020-2022) will give the opportunity to participate in the recruitment process to be initiated by the Board.
• Passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the
