OPSC ASO Syllabus 2023 PDF: The Odisha Public Service Commission has already issued the recruitment notification for the posts of Assistant Section Officer, Section officers, Desk Officer and Deputy Secretary in various departments like GA & PG Department, Lokayukta, and PR & DW Department. Candidates for the posts of Odisha Assistant Section Officer will be selected on the basis of Performance in Written exams and Skill tests in computer applications.

Odisha ASO Exam Pattern 2023 consists of two parts.

Part 1: OPSC ASO Written Examination: The ASO written examination will be conducted to shortlist the candidates. The written exam consists of 3 papers. Paper-I will include questions from General Awareness. Paper II will contain questions on Mathematics, Reasoning & Mental Ability and Paper iii will contain questions from English and Odia Language.

The written examination will be Objective MCQ type. Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be a negative marking.

The duration of both Paper 1 and Paper II will be 1.5 hours each and paper II will be of 2 hours.

Part 2: OPSC ASO Skill Test: After the written test candidates will be called for the skill test in the computer application. The skill test will be qualifying in nature. One candidate has to secure a minimum of 40% marks to be eligible for this skill test.

The duration of the Skill test is 1 hour.
