OSSC Jr Stenographer Exam Pattern 2023

The Odisha Junior Assistant Written test consists of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Computer skill test and Document verification. The detailed plan and pattern of the examination is as follows

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

• The Preliminary examination consists of One Paper with objective MCQ-type questions.
• Questions will be asked from Arithmetic, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Current affairs and Computer awareness.
• There will be 150 MCQ-type questions and each question carries 1 mark.
• There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
• The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

Stage 2: Main Written Examination

The main written exam will be conducted in language paper. It will be descriptive in nature. This test will be conducted for 100 marks.

Stage 3: Computer Skill Test and Stenography Test

Candidates will be called for Computer skill test and stenography test. Both the test will carries 50 marks each.
